By creating an account or using CircleSpeak, you enter an agreement with Buildmind AI, the Hong Kong company that operates CircleSpeak, and agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. Account holders must be at least 18, or otherwise legally able and authorised to enter this agreement. A person managing a child or dependent adult’s profile must be their parent, guardian, or an authorised care, health, or education professional with permission to provide the information.
CircleSpeak is an AAC support service. Features, card packs, availability, data formats, and supported devices may change. We may fix, remove, or pause a feature to protect users or improve the service, with reasonable notice of material changes where practical.
Give accurate account information, keep passwords and verification codes private, and report suspected unauthorised access. Guardians control invitations and managed-board changes. Invite only trusted and authorised people. Each member must use shared information only to support the AAC user and respect their dignity, privacy, and communication choices.
Do not use CircleSpeak to harm, harass, exploit, impersonate, surveil, or discriminate; break the law or another person’s rights; bypass security; distribute malware or spam; or upload unlawful, abusive, or deceptive content. Do not share passwords, OTPs, session tokens, or invite links with unauthorised people.
You keep your rights in content you provide and give CircleSpeak limited permission to host, process, reproduce, and show it only as needed to operate, secure, and support the service. You must have permission to provide identifiable images, information about children, and health or disability-related details.
AI generation sends prompt and generation details to Seedream through Volcengine and may send a CircleSpeak reference image, as described in the Privacy Policy. Do not include sensitive personal information. Generated images can be inaccurate, unsuitable, biased, or confusing. A responsible adult must review every result before AAC use. Use the in-app Report action for a result that should be reviewed.
CircleSpeak does not provide diagnosis, treatment, clinical advice, supervision, emergency monitoring, or emergency contact. It does not replace an AAC user’s existing communication methods, a speech pathologist, a carer, or emergency services.
A Care Circle alert is a best-effort in-app alert for active members whose CircleSpeak app is open and polling. It is not a push notification, delivery is not guaranteed, and it does not contact emergency services.
We may restrict an account to protect a person, the service, or other users, or where these terms are materially breached. You can stop using CircleSpeak at any time and start permanent account deletion from Profile settings. Shared Care Circle profiles may require an ownership or scope review.
CircleSpeak is provided on an “as available” basis and may be interrupted. Keep any alternative communication method needed for safety and daily life. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
